Coaches Meet and Greet
Prospective coaches will have an opportunity to meet with the board, get questions answered, and start background checks. This event is not mandatory to be a coach but it will definitely help get you on the right track. This will be a come and go meeting from 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at In & Out Daquiri on Timberland Drive.
June 24 to July 31
Summer Conditioning Camp
This free camp will be happening every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00PM to 7:30PM. No registration is required and all kids age 4 to 11 are welcome to attend.
Aug. 9
Combine
Bring your player to a drills and skills evaluation and impress the coaches. Only registered players can attend and only players participating in the combine can be drafted. Can't make it...No big deal. Your player will be placed on a team at random. Combine is also the time to try on equipment & uniforms to make sure you get the best fit possible.
Aug. 14
Draft
Coaches will select their teams based on the results of the combine. Only coaches and assistant coaches will need to be in attendance. Coaches and LPYFO staff will contact each parent shortly after the draft.
Aug. 18
Practice opens
Coaches will setup practice schedules and contact parents prior to this date. Practices can only occur after August 18th.
Sept. 13
Regular Season Begins
Games will be played every Saturday leading up to playoffs. Final game schedule will be sent to the coaches prior to the start of the season.
Oct. 25&26
Playoff Weekend
What all the work has been leading up to. A final showdown to see who's put in the work! Playoff brackets will be published by the last week of the season.
